ORDINAL

Represents a number in terms of an ordinal number, or returns the prefix of the ordinal number.

For example, for 1, the ordinal number is “1st”. The function can return either “1st” or only the prefix “st”. Similarly, for 17, the function can return either “17th" or “th”.

Syntax

ORDINAL(input_value, convention)

input_value is the numeric value to consider. It must be a whole number.
Convention Optional. Either 0 or 1. Decides whether only the prefix or the whole ordinal number is returned by the function. 0 means prefix only. 1 mean complete ordinal number. Default is 0, if omitted.
