RReturns, within a range or an array, the index number of the row which contains the row header (or value) specified.
FIND_ROW_INDEX(data_input, search_string, column_index)
data_input can either be a range or an array. This is the range or the array to consider. search_string the string to search for column_index Optional. An integer value which is the column number of the column from which the search_string is looked up. Default is 1, if omitted.
Consider range A1:D5 as shown below:
FIND_ROW_INDEX(A1:A5,”Mar”) returns 3
FIND_ROW_INDEX(A1:A5,”550”,2) returns 4
