Return a the first two digits of a numeric value.

Syntax

F2D(num_input, positive_negative, absolute)

num_input Numeric expression of which the first two two digits will be returned by the function.
positive_negative Optional. A value of 0, 1, or 2. Decides whether only positive numbers (0), only negative numbers (1) or both (2) will be considered by the function. Default is 2 if omitted.
absolute Optional. A Boolean value of either TRUE or FALSE. This decides whether the sign of the original number will be included in the answer output or ignored. Default is FALSE if omitted.

Remark

Example

F2D(1234) returns 12
F2D(-1234, 0) returns “” (nothing, blank)
F2D(-1234, 1, FALSE) returns -12
